Get to know the band...
Kim Thomas
Lead Vocals
Kim started her career at the age of 5 when she performed
in the Broadway play "The King and I" as the littlest princess. She
continued theater all through school and began singing professionally at
the age of 27 with the band "Spice."
She started her own band about 10 years ago and has sang all over New England including Twin River Casino in RI. She has recently joined Illusions and is looking forward to her new venture.
She is considered to be one of the most versatile vocalists in the New England area, her soulful vocals add to the dynamics of all her music. She conquers all types of music with the same depth of emotion. She has an overwhelming stage presence and knows how to captivate her audience.

Tim Hart
Keyboard & Vocals
Tim started playing keyboard at age 15 then moved on to playing in the Happy Louie Polka Band touring the United States while in college.
For the last 30 years, Tim has been touring Southern New England singing, playing keyboards and bass pedals.
Tim's musical influences include James Taylor, Jackson Brown, Keith Urban and the Eagles.
Tim joined Illusions in November 2010 and is anticipating a great career with them.

For the last 30 years, Tim has been touring Southern New England singing, playing keyboards and bass pedals.

Salvatore Sperlongano
Rhythm Guitar & Backup Vocals
Sal was born in Italy and enjoys music, working out, hunting and fishing.
Sal has been playing guitar for over 20 years, playing in a local Italian American Wedding band in the 80's for 10 years. He didn't play for over 20 years at which time Sal helped raise a family but music is in his blood so he decided to get back to doing what he enjoys most. In 2010, Sal started a band called "Payless Comets" and is now part of "Illusions".
Sal's musical influences include Eric Clapton and the Beatles.

Mike Zielski
Guitar
Mike started playing guitar at age 12. He has been playing professionally for the last 20 years. He has played with Nighthawk, a classic rock band. He also played as a classical guitar recitalist. More recently he has performed with the Rhode Island Country Music Association’s band of the year, The Rhode Island Rednecks.
Mike also enjoys a career as a High School Band director. (A shout out to the cool kids at CHS) He hopes to enjoy a long career in Illusions.

Anthony Alicchio
Drums
Tony started his career in an original rock band called "The Promise" he has traveled up and down the eastern seaboard playing in many venues to include The Living Room, Lupos, Bon Vue Inn,The Knickerbocker and many others . He opened for various national and international artist one being John Cafferty and The Beaver Brown Band. He was then a founding member of a cover band called "The RI Storm" playing popular music such as The Beatles, Beach Boys, R&B, and alternative rock. He reunited with two former band mates from "The Promise" and formed "Skinny Mulligan. His latest endeavor was with some local musicians out of Westerly RI called Zach Dustin and The Townees. We incorporated R&B, Blues, Jump swing and Rock and Roll into the set list making the local music scene home. We are happy to add Tony to our Band and look forward to great things!
